Terms of Use

SIA ARVO, registration number 40103192786, registered address Ziedu 12, Ādaži, Ādažu Novads, LV-2164, email info@vinsarstastu.lv, telephone +371 25566236 (hereinafter referred to as the Seller), operates the website vinsarstastu.lv (hereinafter referred to as the Website).

These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the Terms and Conditions) set forth conditions of shopping on the Website for the Buyer. By placing an order, the Buyer accepts the Terms and Conditions.

1.1. 1.1 The Buyer is a natural or legal person ordering goods from the Seller. Alcohol products may only be sold to persons over 18 years of age.
1.2 The Agreement is considered signed when the Buyer confirms the order and pays for it. The Seller will send the order confirmation via email.

2. Goods description

2.1. The Website offers wines, other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, accessories and books.
2.2. Product descriptions are the same in all language versions.
2.3. Alcoholic beverages are sold under an alcohol licence.

3. Buying

3.1. The Customer selects the items, adds them to the basket and completes the order form.
3.2 Before payment, the Customer confirms that they have read the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, as well as completes age verification (via eID Easy).
3.3 The following warning appears on the website:
“ALCOHOL USE HAS NEGATIVE EFFECTS. IT IS FORBIDDEN TO SELL, BUY OR GIVE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES TO MINORS!””IT IS FORBIDDEN TO SUPPLY (GIVE OUT) ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES MONDAY – SATURDAY FROM 20:00 TO 10:00! SUNDAY FROM 18:00 TO 10:00!”

4. Payment

4.1. Payment currency: EUR.
4.2 Available payment methods: payment card (Visa, Mastercard), bank transfer, MakeCommerce platform.
4.3 Payments are made securely via MakeCommerce; the Seller does not receive full payment card details.
4.4. The invoice is emailed after delivery.

5. Delivery

5.1. Delivery methods: courier (Omniva, Venipak) and parcel lockers (Omniva).
5.2. Delivery time: up to 2 business days in Rīga, 2-3 business days in Latvia; 5 business days maximum.
5.3. Cost is shown at checkout.
5.4. Receiving alcoholic products, the recipient must present a valid ID. If age is not confirmed, the goods will not be handed over and the delivery costs will not be refunded.

6.Right to reject and return

6.1. Pursuant to the Consumer Rights Protection Law, the Buyer may cancel the agreement within 14 days of receiving the goods. The Buyer covers the cost of return.
6.2 When the goods are returned to the shop, they must be undamaged, in the original packaging and unopened, by the expiry date +1 day.

If the customer cannot meet these requirements, the Seller reserves the right not to refund the customer for the returned goods.
6.3 Returns: Returns: Email to info@vinsarstastu.lv within 14 days and send the goods to any of the following parcel lockers:
Omniva Rīgas Āgenskalna Maxima X parcel locker, Pilsoņu iela 1k-1, Rīga
Venipak MAXIMA Venipak parcel locker Pilsoņu iela 1-k1, Rīga
Refunds are made within 14 days of receipt.
6.4. If having received the order the Customer discovers that the goods in the order are damaged and/or of poor quality, the Customer shall contact vinsarstastu.lv with an claim accompanied by a photo of the damaged goods, and vinsarstastu.lv will arrange the refund to the Customer’s account from which the purchase has been made. vinsarstastu.lv reserves the right to ask the Customer to return all damaged goods to the place from which the delivery was made.

7. Age Verification

7.1. Alcohol buyers must be at least 18 years of age.
7.2 Age is verified when the order is placed (eID Easy) and when it is delivered.
7.3. The Seller reserves the right to refuse delivery if age is not verified.

8. Warranty and Liability

8.1. The goods are covered by a warranty in accordance with the statutory regulations.
8.2. The Seller is not liable for any delivery delays or actions of third parties.

9. Intellectual Property

10. Claims and dispute resolution

10.1. Claims should be submitted via email to info@vinsarstastu.lv. We will respond within 5 business days.
10.2 All disputes shall be settled via negotiations. If no agreement is reached, disputes shall be settled in the courts of the Republic of Latvia in accordance with Latvian law.

These Terms and Conditions come into effect on 16 September 2025.
